Track & Field Qualifies for States in Five Events

Members of the varsity track and field team are head to the FHSAA 1A Track and Field State Championships after qualifying at the regional meet on Saturday, May 6 at Community School of Naples.
Alex C. '23 and Gabby S. '23 are returning to the state championships for a second straight year! Alex finished second in the javelin, while Gabby ran to a fifth-place finish in the 3200m.

Newcomer Joslyn D. '26 continues to make her mark in her first year. She will represent Canterbury in three events, finishing second overall in the long jump and 100m hurdles, and anchored the 4x100m relay to a fourth-place finish. The 4x100m relay team (Michelle B., Ellie M., Cheyenne M., Joslyne D.) looks to make a run at the podium after setting yet another school record at the regional championships. 

Canterbury will travel to Jacksonville to compete at the 1A State Championships on Wednesday, May 17, hosted by the University of North Florida.
