Athlete of the Week: May 1-7, 2023
Congratulations to track and field athlete Gabby S. '23 on being selected as our Athlete of the Week for the week of May 1-7, 2023.
The senior runner qualified for the FHSAA 1A Track and Field State Championships last Saturday at Community School of Naples, finishing fifth overall in the highly competitive 3200m event. Her time of 11:37 was within a second of her season-best time.
Gabby will represent Canterbury at the state championship meet for the second year in a row, along with several other teammates who qualified. She and her teammates will travel to the University of North Florida for the 1A State Championships on Wednesday, May 17.
