The Lair Volume 49 Makes Its Debut

The latest edition of The Lair, Canterbury’s yearbook, officially made its debut! We would like to recognize Mr. Grey and the yearbook staff for their dedication to creating such a fantastic book full of creativity and memorable moments.
"To make a great yearbook, you need to have a vision, a plan, and the ability to stay flexible as you tell the story of a year in the life of Canterbury School," remarked Mr. Grey.

This year’s yearbook theme “Cosmic Journey” is a nod to the school's Semester in Space learning we embarked on this past fall.

"We hope everyone enjoys the cosmic journey that is reflected within the pages of this year's yearbook," said Ibi R. '24, one of this year's executive editors.

The yearbook team dedicated this year’s book to our Director of Admissions Paula Sizemore, who started her cosmic journey at Canterbury back in 2011 as a psychology teacher. They surprised her with the dedication on Monday, May 15, during communal time in the PAC.

"Like a brightly shining star that fills you with wonder, Mrs. Paula Sizemore is truly special. She somehow manages to radiate love, joy, and meaningful interactions wherever she goes within her ever expanding cosmos of Canterbury," writes Ibi in her dedication to Mrs. Sizemore. "Mrs. Sizemore inspires everyone she meets as she makes connections across our campus, and we are so lucky to have her here." Ibi's dedication is a must-read full of wonderful photos provided secretly by her husband, Steve.

Distribution of the 2022-23 yearbooks began today (May 15) to the Upper School. Middle and Lower Schools will begin distributing them to the students throughout the next week.
