2023 SOUP Literary and Art Magazine Debuts
This year's SOUP officially made its debut!
SOUP is Canterbury's literary and art magazine that comes out every spring, and it's a great opportunity for Upper School students to have their work "published."
Editor in Chief Nick D. '23 unveiled this year's edition at the Upper School Awards Ceremony on Wednesday morning the Murphy Sports Center. He and the staff dedicated this year's magazine to Dr. Mary Smith, Canterbury's Spanish teacher and World Languages Department Chair.
"For your wildfire love and immense devotion to your students. Your passion for languages, travel and education is unmistakable, and the impression you have left on our souls is indelible," writes Nick in the dedication. "Thank you for giving us the power of another language and a profound sense of appreciation for world cultures."
