Canterbury Hosts Mini College Fair

Upper School students enjoyed attending our Mini College Fair held in the Rubenstein Courtyard on Thursday, November 2. The weather was perfect as students visited with college representatives from more than 20 colleges.
The visiting colleges offered students the opportunity to learn about a wide variety of options available in higher education. Large, spirited public universities like the University of Alabama, University of Mississippi, and the University of Florida were on hand to share stories of football rivalries and vast majors. Smaller, liberal arts schools like Wheaton College, Holy Cross University, and New College of Florida educated students about the benefits of small student-teacher ratios and about the strength of a liberal arts curriculum. LIM College, from New York City, an industry leader in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, and Styling, connected with students fascinated with this growing field. Seton Hall of New Jersey boasted about their competitive dual degree programs in Physical Therapy, Nursing, Engineering, Medicine, Business, and Law. We look forward to welcoming more colleges back to our campus next fall.
