Athletes of the Week : October 23 - 27, 2017
Congratulations to the following Athletes of the Week for October 23 - 27, 2017!
Konner B. ’23 plays quarterback and middle linebacker for our Middle School Football team. In the final game of the season, Konner scored three touchdowns, including one on an interception, leading Canterbury to 28-12 victory over Evangelical Christian School. Way to go, Konner!
In the last two weeks, our Varsity Girls Golf team won their second straight District Championship and the first ever Regional Championship. The girls won going away by 27 strokes! They will be heading to the State Championship Tournament next week.
“I am so excited for the girls to have an opportunity to continue their exceptional run
this season. They are peaking at the right time and playing with a tremendous amount of confidence,” explains Coach Carlson.
Congratulations to our Varsity Girls Cross Country team on claiming the District 1A-8 Championship for the second year in a row! The meet took place on October 26, 2017, at Mackle Park on Marco Island. In addition to winning first place, five of our girls finished in the top 15! They head to the regional meet on Friday, November 3.
