Emma N. ’18 Recognized as National Merit Scholarship Finalist
Canterbury School is proud to recognize Emma N. ‘18 as a Finalist in the 2018 National Merit Scholarship Program.
Emma will now be considered alongside 15,000 finalists for National Merit Scholarships. The National Merit Scholarship Program will announce the 7,500 finalists selected to receive Merit Scholarship awards beginning in April.
A total of 1.6 million high school students initially entered the National Merit Scholarship Program’s 2018 competition by taking the Preliminary SAT (PSAT) test. To become a finalist, students submitted detailed scholarship applications that included information about their academic records, honors, awards, co-curricular activities, and leadership roles.
