The class earned averages of 636 in math and 639 in evidence-based reading and writing. In comparison to the national average of 1068, the state average of 1014 and the Lee County average of 990, Canterbury continues to lead in standardized testing results.

Canterbury’s Director of College Guidance Melissa Wilson remarked, “Canterbury students showed exceptional success on both the ACT and SAT during 2018. The average score went up for Canterbury students during the 2017-18 academic year, proving that rigorous curriculum and test preparation join together to bring positive results. ACT and SAT scores play an important role in college admissions. When blended with excellent grades and meaningful community and school involvement, standardized test scores help colleges to predict how successful a student will be in facing a collegiate academic challenge.”
