As a way to show our support of our Varsity Baseball team as they compete in the state semifinal, the school will be dismissed early on Wednesday, May 23.
Our Cougars will play at
1:00 p.m. at Hammond Stadium in the CenturyLink Sports Complex. We believe this will be a great opportunity for the entire Canterbury community to come out and support our school at this spirited athletic event. Since this is an FHSAA sanctioned event, there will be an admission charge of $9 pre-sale or $12 cash at the gate.
Pre-sale tickets can be purchased here. There is also $10 cash-only charge for parking.
Early dismissal times for Wednesday are as follows:
Pre-K3, Pre-K4, and K - 11:15 a.m.
Lower (Grades 1-4), Middle, and Upper School - 11:30 a.m.
If your child is going to dismiss with another family, please make sure the school is notified.
While we do hope to see everyone in the stands, we understand that not all students and parents can attend. Extended Day for Lower and Middle School students will be available in Hanno Dining Hall from dismissal until 5:30 p.m.
Lunch will be available for students staying for Extended Day. Please note that there will be no Extended Day or supervision available for Upper School students following dismissal. Also, all Enrichment Programs and other activities after school are canceled.
Thank you for your continued support of Canterbury School! Make sure to wear your Canterbury spirit gear and we will see you at Hammond Stadium on Wednesday, May 23.
