Welcome from Julie Pearson
Director of Alumni Relations

Hi there! I’m Julie Pearson, and I’m so excited to step into this new role as Canterbury’s Director of Alumni Relations. As we look ahead to an exciting future, we’re focused on building an even stronger future for our alumni community - one rooted in connection, pride, and meaningful engagement.

Our vision is to strengthen alumni connections through better communication, engaging events, and meaningful recognition. Whether you’re just down the road or across the country, we want you to feel informed, involved, and proud to be a Canterbury grad.

You’ll start seeing more regular updates, expanded alumni features, and new ways to connect - both online and in person. From regional gatherings in cities like Boston, New York, and D.C. to reimagined reunions and a refreshed alumni awards program, there’s a lot to look forward to.

After nine wonderful years working on the Canterbury Fund and special events, I’m honored to now focus on connecting with YOU - our alumni. I hope to hear your stories, celebrate your successes, and keep you closely tied to the life of our school.

Let’s stay connected - this is just the beginning!

Warmly,
Julie

Alumna Lema A. ’20 returned to speak with seniors about the college process and her path toward medical school. She answered student questions and shared meaningful advice, including her favorite quote: “Nothing is hard unless you make it hard.”

Special thanks to our Canterbury Content Creators for the Day - Evan D. ’32, Lydia D. ’33, and Naomi D. ’35 - for capturing photos from these events.
