Grandparents

Welcome, Canterbury Grandparents!

Grandparents hold a special place in our hearts at Canterbury. Together, we share immense pride in the many accomplishments of your grandchildren. We encourage you to join our Grandparents Circle (GPC), whose mission is to engage grandparents in the life of the school and support Canterbury’s mission to provide academic excellence within a caring and supportive community emphasizing character, leadership, and service.
 
Another advantage of joining the GPC is the chance to meet and share experiences with other Canterbury Grandparents as well as faculty and staff. Our GPC meets in person and virtually several times a year to enjoy interesting and informative guest speakers and events like our Grandparents and Grandfriends Days. 
 
Whether you live in or out of state, the GPC welcomes interested Grandparents and surrogate Grandparents to get involved, have fun, get to know one another, and participate. There are no fees to join, but you will gain opportunities to further connect with the Canterbury community.

Interested in Volunteering at Canterbury?

We have many areas in which you can get involved such as Office Support, Thanksgiving Boxes, Book Fair, Faculty/Staff Appreciation, and more. While donations are necessary for endowment, annual fund, and scholarship, volunteering your time is invaluable. After all, when you give your time, you’re giving your most valuable asset… YOU!
