2017 Cougar Tennis Open

We are so excited to announce that the 2017 Cougar Tennis Open will be Saturday, November 4, starting at 8:30 a.m. at the Canterbury tennis courts. Please mark your calendars for this fun-filled event.

Our friend-raiser will consist of doubles matches in a round robin format followed by a playoff of the top four teams. All members of the Canterbury community are invited to attend— parents of current students, parents of alumni, alumni, faculty members, and current students. The committee plans to do the pairings; however, if any of you have special team requests, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate. 

Matches will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m., so please arrive early to enjoy some light breakfast and coffee, meet your partner, and warm up. Water and Gatorade will be provided for all players. The playoff matches should conclude around noon, and the winning team and runners-up will receive some amazing Cougar Cave gear, and of course, bragging rights until next year’s event.

Once the round robin champions are determined, there will be a “signature” tennis match and even our Cougar may make an appearance in the stands!

While no entry fee is required, adult players will need to complete a waiver.
