FLVS Hope Information

All students are required to obtain 1 credit in Physical and Health Education during their high school years. There are two ways to fulfill this requirement. Students can take the on-campus class Personal Health and Wellness (one semester, 0.5 credit) and any 0.5 credit on-campus PE class OR they can enroll in the 1 credit HOPE (Health Opportunities through Physical Education) course through Florida Virtual School (https://www.flvs.net)*.  Students taking the HOPE class must complete both sections. This may be completed at any time before graduation, including during the summer. When registering for HOPE, do not use a student's Canterbury email account, as these cannot receive email from outside servers.

*Exceptions to this may include transfer students who took an equivalent course at their previous high school. Please contact our Registrar for further information.
