Every smile has two ends...
"The teams first game is in the books and now we have a launching point in which to enthusiastically build upon." My first sentence after game one and boy did we launch! Two solid-fuel rocket boosters were used to propel seven space shuttles into unknown atmosphere(s). Brock C and Alex D. affixed themselves alone side our cougar spaceship and our team literally became the eighth to explore the unknown.
The unknowns of expanding a team to 16, using three groups to make-up one team, teaching so all 16 understand the intent(s)/purpose, and seeing the smiles of each kid after practices. St. Michaels were giving an up close and personal view of our star defense as we jumped out to an 16 to 0 half-time lead. Lead by Alex D, Brock C, and Ashby P with 12, 7, and 7 respectively our defense made sure our landing was a success. Thumbs up as always to Matt and Amy D'Altrui for the pre-game meal. Go Cougars!
