Key Club Participates in Day of Service

On Saturday, December 3, 2022, members of the Key Club participated in two service projects to support our Southwest Florida community. Key Club is a student-led organization where members aim to make a difference through service.
Together with hundreds of other volunteers, the group enjoyed packing more than 500,000 meals during the Meals of Hope Holidays Without Hunger event. “With the extenuating circumstances of many individuals affected by Hurricane Ian, it is a genuinely meaningful thing for us to be able to accomplish during the holidays,” shared Key Club President Olivia T. ’25.

Following the meal-packing event, Key Club members also helped to decorate the Gulf Coast Humane Society Giving Tree with ornaments. Anyone is welcome to visit the GCHS shelter, take an ornament off of the tree, go out and shop for the item, then return the item to the shelter as a holiday gift. Thank you to our students for their great service!
