Keeping Our Den Together
The school understands that the COVID-19 crisis has created financial concerns and uncertainty. To help keep us together, Canterbury through our Head of School, Board of Trustees, and Chief Financial Officer, has reviewed the various costs in running the school and made adjustments in the budget to prepare for any number of needs, including increased financial aid and increased expenses needed to bring our students, teachers, and staff back to campus safely. If you have concerns please reach out to Chief Financial Officer Micah Rodriguez to discuss your situation. Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it. As we think about all the wonderful people in our lives who are keeping us safe and together, please send us their names, pictures (if you have one), and stories to OneDen@canterburyfortmyers.org. It could be a healthcare provider, first responder, hospitality worker, teacher, family member, or friend. There is no limit to the kindness and caring that those around us have shown.

Coming Together in Service
The One Den Initiative seeks to address our shared desire and opportunity to help not only our fellow Canterbury community members but those members of the community around us. Be a part of the volunteer efforts to write cards, donate blood, make protective masks, and numerous other opportunities. There is a list of actions we will be taking this month to help and serve others. Cards for Seniors
Our students will be writing cards of encouragement for senior citizens at Amavida Living. If you would like to participate, please contact Julie Pearson, Director of the Canterbury Fund. -
Blood Drive
Canterbury will be participating on Wednesday, September 16, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. donating blood. Please go to oneblood.org if you would like to participate in this life-saving gift. -
Appreciation for Local Heroes
Join our students in thanking our local police and firefighters for their work in keeping our community safe and together. If you would like to participate, please contact Julie Pearson, Director of the Canterbury Fund. -
Making Face Coverings
Learn how you can make face coverings for those in need from our own Canterbury School students through their Kids Care Relief non-profit. If you would like to participate, please contact Julie Pearson, Director of the Canterbury Fund. -
Uplifting Videos
Join our students who are making uplifting videos for local senior citizens. More than ever they are in need of interaction with those in our community to help them in this challenging time. If you would like to participate, please contact Sarah Kuehner, Director of the Canterbury Fund. -
