Canterbury Honors Faculty and Staff at End of Year Celebration
On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, Canterbury held its annual End of the Year Celebration to recognize the dedication and service of our incredible faculty and staff. The gathering honored those marking milestone years of service to our school community, a testament to the passion and commitment that make Canterbury such a special place to learn and grow.
This year’s honorees included:
25 Years of Service
- Nikki Ernst, Head of Lower School
- Dayna Fancher, Lower School Teacher (also retiring at the end of this school year)
20 Years of Service
- Caren Speier, Academic Support Specialist for Mathematics, Grades 2–6
- Ron Young, Upper School History and Social Sciences
10 Years of Service
- Rick Kirschner, Head of School
- Erin Smith, Head of Upper School
- Jim Giesen, Upper School Mathematics
- Jennifer Reeves, Lower School Assistant Teacher
- Jennifer Stephenson, Director of Instructional Technology and Innovation K–12
- Liza Thomas, Lower School Assistant Teacher
- Cameron Foos, Middle School English
