Athlete of the Week: September 4-10, 2023
Congratulations to varsity cheerleader Tatum D. '24 on being selected as our Athlete of the Week for the week of September 4-10, 2023.
Tatum has helped revitalize the Canterbury cheer squad and spread spirit throughout the entire campus. As team captain, Tatum has brought together all divisions for fun game day spirit themes such as NEON theme last week for the football game versus Oasis.
"Tatum exemplifies all the qualities of not just a great cheerleader, but an amazing leader for our squad," said varsity cheerleading coach Amanda Jones. "She takes the captain role very seriously and has been instrumental in bringing the team closer together... like a family. She is very determined to leave her stamp on the Canterbury cheerleading team."
Coach Jones went on to say how proud she is of Tatum and looks forward to all she will accomplish throughout the remainder of the season, as well as her senior year.
