Athlete of the Week: October 16-22, 2023
Congratulations to volleyball player Brighten S. '25 on being selected as our Athlete of the Week for the week of October 16-22, 2023.
The junior outside hitter recorded 35 kills and seven blocks in pivotal wins over Community School of Naples and First Baptist Academy last week to help the Cougars repeat as District Champions!
"Her leadership and passion for her team and our sport make her a positive leader both on and off the court," said head volleyball coach Charlie Castillo.
The Cougar volleyball team snapped a 13-year District Championship draught last season sweeping FBA (3-0) at home. This year, they clinched back-to-back championships at FBA, defeating the Lions 3-1.
