Athlete of the Week: October 30- November 5, 2023
Congratulations to Josh C. '27 on being selected as our Athlete of the Week for the week of October 30- November 5, 2023!
The freshman cross country runner had a breakout performance at the FHSAA 1A District Cross Country Championships last Thursday at Southwest Florida Christian Academy. He clocked a two-minute personal record, dropping his time from 20:40 to 18:42, to help the boys cross country team finish fifth overall and secure a trip to regionals.
"Josh had finished outside of our top seven guys most of the season, but he always showed up, worked super hard, and stayed humble and respectful," said head cross country coach Ryan Stafford. "He had a breakout performance for us at the district meet and we couldn't be more proud of him."
