Athlete of the Week: November 20-26, 2023
Congratulations to varsity girls basketball player Kaya L. '25 on being selected as our Athlete of the Week for the week of November 20-26, 2023.
The junior shooting guard helped lead the Cougars to a big come-from-behind win over Lemon Bay. She recorded 16 points and grabbed six rebounds all while playing all 32 minutes.
"She was a leader on the floor for us," said head coach Camary Williams. "She played aggressive defense and was willing to sacrifice her body by diving on the floor at all cost."
Kaya and the girls basketball team will host Oasis High School on Tuesday, December 5 for the home opener. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m.
