Eighth Grade Students Honored

On Thursday, May 30, 2024, students from the Class of 2028, along with their parents and members of Canterbury’s faculty gathered in the Murphy Sports Center to celebrate the accomplishments of those preparing to leave the Middle School.
Head of Middle School Sharon Laconi welcomed everyone before receiving a special message from Head of School Rick Kirschner. Two members of the Class of 2028, Giules P. ’28 and Katie D. ’28 also shared speeches with the audience.
Awards were presented for academics, athletics, service, and leadership. A complete list can be found below. Advisors for the 79 eighth-graders then shared special memories and favorite quotes of each student before awarding them their Certificates of Promotion. Click here for a full photo gallery.
