Artist Spotlight: Caroline L. & Daniel Z.

The Canterbury Arts Department would like to shine the spotlight on Daniel Z. '22 and Caroline L. '26. These two amazing musicians were selected to represent Canterbury in the All-State Honor Band, the annual concert and orchestra conference by the Florida Music Educators Association.

Our youngest musician, Caroline L. '26, is a clarinet player in the eighth grade. She will be playing in the Middle School All-State Honor Band. Daniel Z. ’22 is a senior who plays the oboe and will represent Canterbury in the High School All-State Honor Band. A fun fact about Daniel, he just picked up the saxophone three weeks ago and has already beautifully mastered the instrument.

Band director Mr. Zachary Deeter said, “These two students will be representing Canterbury at the state level through their exceptional musical performance, and we know that they will make us proud! If you see them in person, please congratulate them!”

We are incredibly proud that Caroline and Daniel will be representing Canterbury in the All-State Honor Bands.
