Athlete of the Week: February 21-27, 2022
Congratulations to varsity soccer player Ethan W. '22 on being selected as our Athlete of the Week for the week of February 21-27, 2022.
The senior midfielder capped off an incredible career at Canterbury with a sterling performance in the 2A FHSAA State Championship game.
"Ethan's ability to play the 1 spot at an extremely high level in the 4-1-3-2 formation is what allowed us to go on another deep playoff run," said head soccer coach Kevin Schoensee. "He has been a dominant player for his entire career, and played near-perfect in his final game for Canterbury."
Coach Schoensee went on speak to Ethan's high character and how great of a role model he is for family Cougar and soon-to-be Cougar student-athletes: brother Landon, cousin Josh, and new Canterbury enrollee, cousin Julia.
