Middle School Mathletes Headed to States
Twelve middle school students competed in the MathCounts Calusa Chapter competition on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Dunbar High School.
Leena A. '27 finished first overall after the target and sprint round individual written competitions, and second overall after the countdown competition. In addition to her individual performances, Leena and teammates Sam C. '27, Ari K. '27, and Riya S. '29 took home first place in the team competition.
The team will now move on to represent Canterbury at the MathCounts State Competition on March 10 in Orlando. Leena will also compete in the individual competition.
