Athletes of the Week: February 13-26, 2023
Congratulations to runner Joslyne D. '26 and baseball player Austin S. '23 on being selected as our Athletes of the Week for the weeks of February 13-19 and February 20-26, 2023.
We have a double dose of Athlete of the Week this week due to Winter Break last week.
We begin with freshman runner Joslyne D. '26 who made her track and field debut a few weeks ago at the Dunbar Classic. She wasted no time in breaking a Canterbury Track and Field record, racing to a 12.77 finish in the 100m dash. Joslyne also finished second in the long jump with a jump of 16'-3".
Over the break, left-handed pitcher Austin S. '23 made a statement on the bump in his senior debut, throwing four scoreless innings and striking out nine. At the plate, he recorded four hits, including a double and a triple.
Way to go Joslyne and Austin!
