Athletes of the Week: March 27- April 9, 2023
With Spring Break last week, and a plethora of spring athletic events, we have a double dose of Athlete of the Week for the weeks of March 27- April 9, 2023.
Congratulations to varsity baseball player Joseph D. '24 and varsity boys lacrosse player Spencer T. '25 on being selected as our Athletes of the Week!
Joseph, a junior second baseman, was on fire for the Cougars the week of March 27, helping lead the team to a 4-1 record and a runner-up finish at the IMG National Baseball Classic. He batted .588 with seven RBI, seven runs scored, three doubles, and three stolen bases.
Spencer, a sophomore midfielder, was instrumental in the Cougar's 9-3 win over Gulf Coast High School during spring break. He quarterbacked the game, managing both ends of the field while scoring a goal and adding an assist.
