Club Spotlight: Model United Nations

Mehereen C. '25
The Canterbury Model United Nations (MUN) Program offers an engaging platform for students to simulate real-world international diplomacy.
Led by Secretary General Michaela F. '24, Upper-Secretariats Grady L. '24 and Alexa G. '24, and Under-Secretariats Laith A. '25 and Mehereen C. '25, the club thrives on fostering diplomatic skills and global awareness.

In the past, Canterbury's MUN chapter has participated in prestigious conferences like MICSUN (University of Miami), GatorMUN (University of Florida), PMUN (Princeton University), and KnightMUN (University of Central Florida).

This year, they are excited to expand their horizons. The Canterbury MUN chapter plans to attend NAIMUN at Georgetown University and WMHUSMUN at the College of William and Mary, in addition to returning to KnightMUN, SharkMUN, GatorMUN, and MICSUN.

The club's remarkable dedication has led to numerous awards for Cougar members in previous years. They are looking for an incredible year of learning, competing, and recognition for Canterbury’s Model UN Program.
