Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive Underway
Our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, a long-standing tradition at Canterbury, is now underway to benefit Nations Association Charities and Gladiolus Food Pantry.
If you can, we ask our families to donate certain non-perishable foods as noted below. Monetary donations for turkeys are also appreciated. All food donations are due by November 13. Through your generous donations, we will help feed more than 50 local families during Thanksgiving week!
Pre-K3, Pre-K4, and kindergarten - (6) boxes each of macaroni and cheese
Grades 1 & 2 - (1) 15 oz. box of instant mashed potatoes and (2) 12-18 oz. jars of gravy
Grades 1 & 2 - (1) 15 oz. box of instant mashed potatoes and (2) 12-18 oz. jars of gravy
Grades 3 & 4 - (1) 5 lb. bag of rice and (1) 32 oz. bag of dried black or pinto beans
Grades 5 & 6 - (2) 15.2 oz. boxes of cereal and (1) 40 oz. can of sweet potatoes
Grade 7 - (5) 15 oz. cans of green beans or corn
Grade 8 - (5) 15 oz. cans of fruit
Grades 9 & 10 - (1) 28 oz. or larger jar of peanut butter and (1) 17 oz. or larger jar of jelly
Grades 11 & 12 - (2) 16 oz. packages of spaghetti and (1) 24 oz. or larger jar of spaghetti sauce
