Canterbury’s Production of ‘12 Angry Jurors’ Selected for Florida State Thespian Festival

For the first time in our school’s history, our thespian troupe will bring a production to the main stage of the prestigious Florida State Thespian Festival in Tampa.
Canterbury’s production of “12 Angry Jurors” was selected to be one of eight productions out of the entire state to have this honor.

“This is one of the highest honors a cast and crew can get in the high school theater world,” shared Upper School Theatre Director Aaron Jackson. “I am one proud director, to say the least.”

In March of 2024, our thespians will take the entire production of “12 Angry Jurors” including the set, lights, and costumes to Tampa for the festival. And with the runtime of the show being 72 minutes, our thespians will get to put on two performances, doubling the audience that can see the show. Florida’s Thespian Festival is one of the largest in the world, with more than 10,000 students participating.

We want to thank all who had a part in supporting our thespians with this incredible show! Congratulations to all!
