Third Grade Students Publish Kindness Books
Our third-grade students can now add the title of ‘published author’ to their resumes.
Throughout the school year, our Lower School students learn about certain core values as part of our character education program. For the second quarter, kindness became the focus.
Our third-grade teachers decided to take learning about kindness to a whole new level by encouraging students to create a class book centered around what kindness means to them. Every student had a part in their class book by writing about kindness and creating illustrations to go along with their messages. The students were thrilled to see their published books arrive!
They also recently enjoyed sharing their work with grandparents during our annual Grandparents + Grandfriends Day.
