Canterbury’s 40th Annual Marathon Raises $23,000 for Local Causes

On Thursday, March 14, 2024, Canterbury School students, faculty, staff, and parents showcased their commitment to service during a special check presentation for their 40th Annual Marathon.
Marathon is a Canterbury tradition in which students run and walk to raise money for worthy causes. Canterbury selected The Heights Foundation and the American Heart Association to receive funds from the annual event. We thank these organizations for working with us to educate our students about the great work they do in our community. The presentation by the American Heart Association about the importance of heart health and fitness tied in well with our focus on wellness. Our students also enjoyed learning about how the money they raised for The Heights Foundation will make a difference in the lives of other local children.

On Friday, February 2, students in the Lower School divisions headed to our track and racked up dozens of laps. Through their efforts, we are proud to announce that the Canterbury community raised a total of $23,618!

Canterbury School would like to send a special thank you to Canterbury parents for their hard work volunteering at this great event.
