Troupe 5782 Shines on Mainstage of Florida State Thespian Festival

The Canterbury Arts Department would like to shine a light on Troupe 5782 and their amazing performances at the Florida State Thespian Festival, March 13-16, 2024, in Tampa.
The troupe brought a total of seven pieces to the state competition, plus their mainstage production of 12 Angry Jurors.

'12 Angry Jurors' was selected as one of eight productions out of the entire state to have the honor of performing on the mainstage at the festival in front of more than 800 people across two showings.

“This is one of the highest honors a cast and crew can get in the high school theater world,” shared Upper School Theatre Director Aaron Jackson. “I am one proud director, to say the least.”

In total, the Cougar thespians brought home four Superior and three Excellent ratings on the weekend. Macy M. '25 brought home back-to-back Superiors for her solo musical and duet with Ella C. '25.
