Athlete of the Week: March 18-24, 2024

Lorelei, playing in the No. 1 slot for the Cougar girls tennis team, defeated Bishop Verot's No. 1 player in a decisive straight-sets victory (6-4, 7-6 (6)). Coach Arnie Maslow is proud of Lorelei's bounce-back efforts despiting losing to the same player 10 days earlier in the Private 8 semifinals.

 

"Lorelei played her best and smartest match of the season," said Maslow. "It was truly a complete performance."
