Canterbury Artists Showcased at ArtFest Art Under 20
Canterbury School would like to recognize the many amazing artists who recently participated in the 2017 ArtFest Art Under 20 Juried Art Competition in downtown Fort Myers.
A special congratulations goes out to Jessica X. ’19, who won Best of Show for her incredible drawing of a man from China. Jessica tells us she and her father first captured a picture of this man while visiting his mountain village in a remote area of northern China. She used Prismacolor Colored Pencils to then draw a portrait of the man.
We also want to recognize Michelle F. ’20 who won first place in Digital Photography. Also, Peyton H. ’17 who received Honorable Mention in Drawing/Painting, and Nate D. ’18 who received Honorable Mention in Photography.
