Students Inducted into Rho Kappa History Honor Society

On Thursday, May 25, 2017, the Rho Kappa Florida Council for the Social Studies Student History Honor Society inducted 16 Canterbury students into its program. 
Canterbury teachers, Dr. Ronald Young, Dr. Konstantin Georgiadis, Mr. Ian Cross, and Mrs. Paula Sizemore presided over the induction while current members, Emily S. ’17 and Adele D. ’17, conducted the candle lighting ceremony.
Those inducted include one senior, Sydney H. ’17, as well as 15 juniors, Sophia A. ’18, Ciara A. ’18, Desmond D. ’18, Kyanah F. ’18, Brendan F. ’18, Anna K. ’18, Emily L. ’18, QiQi L. ’18, Cas M. ’18, Emma N. ’18, Kelly O. ’18, Sean O. ’18, Sam O. ’18, Angie P. ’18, and Julia R. ’18.
The ceremony concluded with a poem read by Mrs. Paula Sizemore titled, The Esquimos Have No Word for “War” by Mary Oliver.
