In one of the largests meet in the state of Florida, 43 teams sqared off at the DDD Sommer Invitational at Estero Regional park on Saturday. The boys cross country team placed 26th as a team and the girls placed 5th overall. Two members of the girls team placed in the top 20 and were recognized at the awards ceremony following the races. Every member of this co-ed team raced with tremendous effort and heart! Go Cougars!!
